Okay, so that we don't keep screwing around in Gina's thread, I'm gonna post this here:

OMG I know! I've been searching for some GOOD Twilight fics, and it's nearly impossible to find them! UGG! BUT! I have found the best twilight fic EVER!!! It's still a WIP with another four or five chapters to go, but they're nice sized chapters, and the author is amazing! She just read the books a couple of weeks ago like I did, and was inspired to write this, and thank god she did! I can't say enough good things about it, honestly. I posted teh link in my LJ, but didn't even think about posting it here. *head/desk*

It's nice and smutty, without being vulgar... it's completely SEXY!!! And OMG the girl can write! I don't know how many times my heart was actually racing, whether it was from the fear the characters were feeling, or whatever else caused it -_- LOL Anyway, go NOW! Read and LOVE!

I've also found a fic last night that I rec'd on my journal if you're interested. It's actually an OT3 fic, with Edward/Bella/Jacob, and while I never thought I would actually read one of those, this one was really good, and was something that I could honestly see happening.... it made sense to me, if you will. I'm glad that you finally finished book one! I told you it was awesome! But you must promise me something, seeing as how you are reading the books via a handheld computer like thing: You may not, can not, and MUST not throw your handheld HP iPaq across the room when you read book 2, New Moon. You HAVE to not throw it and just keep on reading! Trust me, you'll see what I mean! I had a very LARGE desire to hurt my computer badly when I read it, but I didn't!

And you've had to purchase caffeine to keep yourself awake to read them? Damn, you are addicted! *grins evilly* that doesn't mean that I'm not a happy camper though!

Nah, the caffeine was mostly to keep me awake during work after I had stayed up far too late reading.

I never have a problem staying up reading - far too interested to get sleepy.

And just for the record, I totally understand what you mean by throwing something across the room. I took an extended lunch break to delve into book 2 this afternoon and I already want to beat Edward into a pallid, bloodless pulp.... an extremely cute pallid, bloodless pulp, but I shall beat him nonetheless.

But I also understand why he did what he did. He had/has a good, but stupid and somewhat idiotic and slightly misguided, reason for doing it, I think. You'll see what I mean. Just keep on reading!

I'm going to be working on some more icons -text icons specifially- today, and I hope to have some more posted by Thursday. And maybe a wall, some banners.... who knows. LOL

Do any of you guys have a LJ? If so, you should really check out this community: Twilight_T00bs There's some pretty good fic there, especially ones by cinnamon_kisses, whom I know from the HP fandom. She's got this fabulous fic called Only Human which she's posting there. It's a wonderful fic, check it out.

Already through Book 2 (I found this to be either remarkably short or outstandingly good, because I flew through it in about 24 hours), and am now into Book 3.

I stopped about 1 chapter into it because I realized that this is the last book out and I don't want to devour it too quickly... make the happiness last...

Do you guys know if this is only a trilogy or if there are more coming to the series?

OMG rapunzl, did we not mention it enough or what?! OOPS! LOL There is the fourth and final book coming out August 2, called Breaking Dawn! So by all means, devour that baby, and then feel free to re-read the books one more time before Aug 2. LOL Breaking Dawn is a whopping 768 pages! WHOO and HOO!! LOL

Then, after BD comes out, she's working on a book called Midnight Sun, which is Twilight from Edward's POV, and she's only about half way done with it, and says she's already past the 300 page mark. She's not too sure how long it will be before that comes out, but it will be coming out. YAY!!

And then she's said that this more than likely won't be the last books with these characters in it, just the final book from Bella's POV. She says she just loves these characters, and they still have lots of stories to tell, so.... *shrugs* yeah. LOL

You should go check out her site www.stepheniemeyer.com/ for more news and stuff about the books. She's got the first chapter of Midnight Sun there for you to read, and OMG it's fucking fabulous!! It's really great to see Edward's POV of events. A-MAZING!!

Rapunzl, by all means, DEVOUR away! Like I said, I read all three in four days, which is crazy, but I just COULD NOT STOP! It was absolute madness! I love reading them, however I did something that wasn't so smart. I was listening to The Reason by Hoobastank, which reminds me of Edward SO MUCH; I was listening to that song as I read Edward do what he does to Bella in book 2. You know what I'm talking about, and I REFUSE to spoil it for anyone else!

Hahahaha, Stephenie's website is freaking AMAZING! Her brother is the one that does all the upkeep on it, so he's wonderful for doing that for her. They have Breaking Dawn Quotes of the Day, which are WONDERFULLY AMAZING! Anyhow though, Cat, what's interesting is that I ended up reading the first chapter of Midnight Sun BEFORE I even started reading Twilight. *grins* What ended up happening was this: Megan GUSHED and GUSHED and GUSHED some more, and my curiosity was starting to kill me, lol. So I youtubed the trailer and had a fangirl moment (*grins*), before managing to calm down and then going to Stephenie Meyer's website.

Once on her site, I did some looking around and stumbled upon the first chapter of Midnight Sun and after reading it, I did a BIG happy dance in my chair! A lot of you might go, "Well, why'd you do that? Didn't it sort of spoil Twilight for you? etc" It actually didn't! If anything, it helped me to understand Edward more, and what he went through and goes through ALL the time, so I was glad that I read it first. *grins* I had a friend of mine send me the books as e-books, as I had NO car at that time and was desperate by this time to read them. That night was the first of several nights that I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning to read and OMG, was it worth it!

For me, I read the first two books in about two days... I just strapped myself to my room and wouldn't stop reading until I finished them! And for the third book, it two me about three days to read it... *grins*

I finished the books in about FOUR days, which is a bit of a record for me, as far as reading 3 books that are at all at least anywhere from 300-500+ pages apiece.

Don't get me wrong, I love Jacob to death. He's an absolute sweetheart, and pretty much a lot that a girl would/could want. HOWEVER, that being said, I am FIRMLY for Team EDWARD. Bella and Edward are one of those couples that if they were or aren't together, you go "WTF is going on here?!?!" They're MADE for each other, and you can see it, despite everything that happens. So my answer is Team Edward. *grins happily*

You'd already told me about reading Midnight Sun first, silly. LOL We had that discussion early one morning when neither of us could sleep, remember? LOL

Chrissy, it took me about four, closer to five days to read all three of them, due soley to the fact that I've two little ones to take care of, so I'd have to stop reading for longer periods of time that I liked. LOL Had to feed the brats, ya know. LOL But if I wasn't dealing with the kids, I was sitting here reading like crazy, staying up until *late* at night/early into the morning, or going to bed early only to wake up about 5am to start reading again when I had a few uninterrupted hours to do it before the kids woke up. LOL I plan on shipping the kids off to Grandma's the day I get Breaking Dawn so that I have a whole uninterrupted day to read it.

And I feel the same as Angel. While I love Jacob to death (he's a great guy), I don't want him and Bella together. I believe that she and Edward are meant to be together, and that's the way it should be. So.... TEAM EDWARD!! WHOO-HOO!! LOL

I personally loved Eclipse. I did love what Edward did close to the end, how he pretty much was willing to give in to her. That made me go awwwwwwwwwww like crazy! It was so sweet, and just wonderful!

Of course I've read the first chapter. I did it yesterday, right after you guys told me about it. It was really interesting seeing the flip side of the situation - I'm looking forward to the rest of the book.

As for Eclipse, did anyone else want to smack Edward (and, to a lesser extent, the rest of the Cullens) upside the head?? I mean, to be so overprotective as to kidnap her - on multiple occasions - or to forbid her from seeing Jacob? I would have smacked him. I thought Bella would be more independent than to just roll over on that one, despite how much she loved Edward.

Maybe she accepted it because she was still suffering from residual fear of him leaving again?

I can't wait to be able to read all of Midnight Sun! It's gonna be awesome to see everything from Edward's POV, we'll understand him much better. Apparently Stephenie gave Robert what she had written of the book, so that he'd have a little more to go on when he played him. He said it was helpful.

No, I didn't really want to smack Edward. LOL I understood why he was doing what he was doing. He was just trying to protect her; they're all just trying to protect her. I mean, come on... they don't really know anything about the werewolves other than what past experience has taught them. They don't know this pack's human sides. They don't know that Jacob would be able to control himself if he got angry. I can't blame them for not wanting to take that chance with Bella's life. I mean, look at what Sam did to Emily... he loved her and yet he hurt her -badly- without meaning to.

Edward's fault is that he thinks he's older and knows best. He doesn't understand how Bella can have so much confidence in her friends. He's unwilling to risk her life, and probably afraid that she'll choose Jacob over him. He doesn't feel worthy of her, so it makes total sense that he'd have that thought running through his head often. He's very insecure for someone of his "age" and experience. Let's face it, he's still just a 17 year old boy underneath it all.

As for Bella.... I totally think she was afraid that he'd leave again, and so that's why she didn't push stuff as much as she should have. Afterall, Stephenie has said that this is NOT just a high school crush, this is TRUE LOVE! It would make sense she'd be afraid he'd leave her.

Anyway.... I think I've rambled enough for now. Had too many distractions from the kids, so I hope that it somehow makes sense. LOL

One of these days I'm really going to post my thoughts on the books in my LJ, but I gotta finish re-reading them first. I admit to getting sidetracked from the re-reads by doing graphics and reading fanfics. oops! lol

It's not December yet because it's still July, which SUCKS! It being July means that we have exactly FIVE MONTHS AND ONE WEEK till the movie is RELEASED! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

OMG SUCH EXCITING NEWS!!!

If any of you are fans of the HP series of movies, you probably are aware of the bad news we got about two days ago. The movie has been pushed back until July of 2009 now. BOOOO!!! Stupid movie people! Grrrrr! LOL So, I was really upset about having to wait longer for the movie now, as I was all set to be able to watch it and Twilight his holiday season. I've been saving my money so I can see them multipal times too! *rolls eyes*

Well, now for the exciting news! Summit has released a statement saying that Twilight's release will be moving up three weeks!! That's right, it will now be out November 21st, and not December 12th!!! YAAAAAAAYYYYYY!! WHOO and HOO!! LOL

I'm SO excited about this! We've got 98 more days now, instead of 120-some. YAY! It also means it's coming out on a holiday weekend -the day after Thanksgiving, so I don't have to take off work to go see it at midnight. I was so totally going to too! I'd already told my boss about it this week too. *snickers* And Terra's going to come up here and watch it with me. YAAAYYY!!! LOL

Okay, I'll stop rambling now. Just had to share the great news with you guys, just in case you hadn't heard it yet.

Okay, the only reason I'm even up at this ungodly hour of the morning is that I went and passed out at around 12ish methinks, and then woke up a few hours later at around 3ish, and now me is on a Twilight kick again. woots!

I did hear about HP 6 being pushed back to July 2009! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! That makes me SO mad! I'm gonna guess, and this is just me guessing, that the reason that happened was Dark Knight and it's success this summer that made them push it back. Think of it this way, and this is the positive side of me coming out: That just means that we have less time to wait till HP7, well, part one, anyway, comes out. *grins*

As for Twilight the movie's new release date, I could NOT be any more THRILLED! I'm absolutely STOKED to see it! Although Cat, it's coming out the 21st, which means that it will have been in movie theaters for ALMOST a week before Thanksgiving, which is on the 27th. One could though, if one wanted, see it again on the 28th after Black Friday shopping and getting some sleep so they'd be rested to see it again. *grins evilly*

Well, I've been so emmersed in the Twilight fandom, that I've neglected to post any of the new stuff here for you guys. OPPS! This week has been AMAZING as far as us getting new stuff at last! We've gotten a TON of brand new pics released, and tonight the final trailer (the one that will play in front of movies at the theaters) was released.

It.is.amazing!! I kept *squeeing* and grinning like an idiot all throughout watching it. God I can't wait to see this movie!! I'm soooo excited that I can't even tell you how much. LOL Angel, thanks again for turning me on to this fandom... I honestly can't thank you enough for giving me something I can be so passionate about again. I've not felt this way since my Buffy days.

I've heard Bella's Lullaby and I loved it Definitely gonna look for it online and download the song!

Um, I heard the song in my friend's ipod (she's a HUGE Twilight fan) and then I decided to check the song on Youtube but there're tons of Bella's Lullaby that I was confused which one was the official one. Anyway, the one I listened to is by Yaruma (at least I guess that's the name) and it's so beautiful. I hope that's the one!
