Hey everyone,
I am in the midst of writing the next chapter from one of my stories, and I am severely lacking in PR info after season 3. I thought I had read somewhere that Bulk and Skull had been captured and rescued by the power rangers once. Is this true? Did they find out the rangers identities then?
Thanks, Lyndz

Bulk and Skull have been rescued multiple times by the Rangers. That being said, the incident you're probably referring to is from Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, where Bulk and Skull were initially captured by Divatox to be sacrificed to Maligore, only to be deemed unworthy for obvious reasons, hence the subsequent kidnap and sacrifice of Jason and Kimberly.
And to answer your second question, No, Bulk and Skull did not discover the identities of the Rangers until Countdown to Destruction, the season finale of In Space, by which time all ties to MMPR had been ended and an entirely new cast of Rangers inserted. Still, it could easily be inferred from the Wild Force team-up, Forever Red, that Bulk and Skull at some point discovered that Tommy -- and likely the others by way of that -- was a Ranger.
In the official airing of the episode, Tommy is simply hanging around at Bulkmeier's when a call comes in for him at the place, more than likely from Andros. Bulk and Skull approach Tommy with trepidation, stammering as they hand the phone over to him. Whether out of fear or respect, either way it seems like Bulk and Skull eventually put two-and-two together after discovering the identities of the Space Rangers, most of whom had ties to Tommy by way of being the second generation Turbo Rangers.
Also, in the deleted scenes for Forever Red, Bulk refers to Tommy as "The Boss," and, after taking the phone, Tommy claims to Andros (who is on the other end of the line) that he is "retired." Moments later, he shockingly exclaims, "The evil Machine Empire!?", clearly within earshot of Bulk and Skull.
So, like I said, Bulk and Skull never officially learned the original Rangers' identity on-screen, but it's easy to assume that they could have discovered Tommy's identity some time post-In Space, and probably the others as a result of learning about Tommy.

Two questions - I'm adding onto this thread so as not to clutter the board with others...
1) Is there a specific date on the letter? I keep looking and it seems to be different in each fic. Is there a canon date?
2) Is it ever clarified where Kim moved to in Florida? I've seen both Miami and Orlando in fic.

I believe the Letter episode first aired on Valentine's day or close to it, so most people use that. As for where she went, I don't think there was a specific place, though most I know use Miami

In response to your first question, the letter episode aired on May 13th 1996.....hope that helps!

Valentine's Day for The Letter is a bit of a stretch, if you ask me, and here's why. Consider that I'm Dreaming of a White Ranger (AJJ's final TV appearance), took place in the last quarter of Season 3, along with the episodes that followed it. Following I'm Dreaming, we have The Sound of Dischordia, and then Rangers in Reverse, which of course leads to the Mighty Morphin' Alien Rangers miniseries.
(As an aside, MMAR was a beautiful set-up to Zeo; the first time the end of one season had a direct impact on the start of the next).
Back on topic, MMAR lasted 11 episodes, and with all the trouble the kid Rangers were having (trying to return to their teenage forms while searching for the all-powerful Zeo Crystal), it's safe to assume that whole period of time leading up to A Zeo Beginning took quite a while, probably a month or two at least. At that point, two months after I'm Dreaming, we're at the end of February and Zeo hasn't even started yet.
Now, at this point, the timeline is still entirely fudgable depending on how long you think it took for the Zeo Quest, etc., but it becomes much more plain when looking at it in reverse. Shift into Turbo, of course, takes place during the Rangers high school graduation, which means Zeo took place during their senior year.
The way I see it, S1 was freshman year, S2 sophomore year, S3 junior year, and Zeo their senior year. Now consider that There's No Business Like Snow Business clearly takes place during winter time. Add that in with the previously established timeline, and you're looking at November, maybe December of their senior year.
*is done nerding out about the PR timeline now*

That... makes a lot of sense. I figured with an episode name with snow in it, it'd have to be between November and Feb. or March. December works really well for my fic, so I'll take it! (*grins* And if I have questions, I'll direct them to you) Nothing wrong with nerding about timelines... I spend hours breaking them down in fics! Thanks so much, I appreciate it whole-heartedly!

No problem at all. Happy to answer any questions you may have, if I know the answer, of course.
