Well the first three seasons of power rangers are the focus of tommy and kim, everything pretty much went down hill at Zeo when they decided to make that whole 'John Letter' thing.
Dino Thunder is nice, back to typical high school kids as rangers, the humor, Tommy, along with many other things.

I love Mystic Force, though from what I've read someplace it seems like not so many people liked that series so much. Wonder why? I mean, just listening to Xander's sexy accent was good enough reason to watch it *winks*

Dino Thunder is nice, back to typical high school kids as rangers, the humor, Tommy, along with many other things. If all you care about in PR is Tommy/Kim then don't watch Zeo. But if you like good quality PR...well, as much as I love Tommy/Kim, Zeo was so much better than MMPR in my opinion. MMPR was one of those shows where you could catch an episode at random times and not feel like you missed anything (miniseries' not included, of course). With Zeo, it was very much a story-driven season. Adam and Rocky were able to get a lot of the development they didn't receive in MMPR, Tanya was an excellent new character, Jason came back, and from an overall standpoint, the 2nd half of MMPR S3 set up Zeo so wonderfully. Throughout the fandom Zeo is generally accepted as one of PR's greatest seasons, and I have to agree. As a kid, I didn't care so much, but now it's nice to go back and watch something that was actually written thoughtfully. Actions in one episode had effects later on down the line; you didn't often get that in MMPR.

The problem back then was that PR being shipped and broadcast over here long ago was that it can be confusing or I somehow keep missing the episodes. So I guess MMPR did good at that time cause missing anything didn't really affect much. I guess I was just into the original characters, one by one left, until Billy and Tommy left. Even to that point, I was barely catching on as to what was going on.
But the zords in Zeo were really cool, that I have to agree, compared to the rest. May be I'm just the old classics guy, with circumstances of liking them are affected as to how little I'm exposed to the rest of the franchise. They stopped broadcasting PR ever since Dino Thunder finished. Keeping it alive in between, they even resorted to broadcasting the Sentai Series, I remember watching the much darker Time Force Japanese version.

How about OO? I know that it's our PR at the moment here. I've tried watching it several times, but I don't know, I just didn't like it although I am a huge fan of the Japanese version. Boukenger is definitely one of the best Sentai I've ever seen.
And I honestly didn't watch Zeo either. Sure, I heard lots of time that it's considered one of the best seasons, but seeing Tommy and Kat in one screen really makes me cringe, as immature as that sounds.

For me, everything from the beginning of MMPR till halfway through Turbo were awesome. When everyone left, it lost it's luster, and it felt like you were watching something completely different. At least to me, it was almost like it wasn't PR. They saved it with Space, but after that, I feel like it just wasn't the same, and that's when I stopped watching.
I concur with everyone who's said that Zeo is one of the best seasons in PR history. Everything about it, with the exception of that stupid letter, was done wonderfully. And I think they made up for the letter a little bit with Jason coming back to be the Gold Ranger.
And Dino Thunder was probably the best Disney-era season of PR that they've ever done, with Mystic Force and Ninja Storm coming in second and third. I dunno, maybe it was just me being used to the classics, but I could never get into OO, SPD and Jungle Fury. I've not seen one episode of RPM yet, so I can't pass judgment on it. Anyone know where I can find episodes? I can never find it on TV...

Youtube has almost every single episode, I would say. Or that link above kpower provided, if you want to download 'em (:

Boukenger is definitely one of the best Sentai I've ever seen. You're still stuck on OO over there? Ouch. That season had so much potential; I mean, this was the first time where the Rangers actually operated equally both in and away from their home city. They had a great opportunity to do awesome work with so many different locations and blew it with Kalish's terrible producing and Koichi's extreme fetish for explosions, sparks, and other shiny things done in excess. Not to mention the fact that Andrew Hartford was obviously a pedophile squatting in Anton Mercer's mansion while Mercer was away on business. And I honestly didn't watch Zeo either. Sure, I heard lots of time that it's considered one of the best seasons, but seeing Tommy and Kat in one screen really makes me cringe, as immature as that sounds. Truthfully, Tommy and Kat's relationship in Zeo/Turbo was nothing like Tommy and Kim's. It was implied a few times that Tommy and Kat were together, but it wasn't one of those things where them on-screen was hard to watch. Plus, it's PR; we haven't had an actual kiss since Tommy/Kim anyway, so there's that as well. And Dino Thunder was probably the best Disney-era season of PR that they've ever done, with Mystic Force and Ninja Storm coming in second and third. I dunno, maybe it was just me being used to the classics, but I could never get into OO, SPD and Jungle Fury. Well, I can see not getting into OO and JF, but I'm baffled as to Mystic Force > SPD. Just out of curiosity, what was it about MF that you enjoyed so much? Like OO and JF, I found it to be a poorly written season, with underdeveloped characters, and a whiny Red Ranger who made me cringe almost as much as Casey in JF. SPD on the other hand...granted, it turned out to be a major disappointment come the second half of the season, but it was still a pretty good season in comparison with everything else that Kalish put out. I think that mostly stems from the fact that Greg Aronowitz was an EP as well on that season, and that guy put in so much time, effort and energy, it's ridiculous. A lot of people don't even know how devoted Greg was to his craft. That man spent his own money -- and his entire Christmas vacation -- building props and costumes to fuel a story that Disney's budget would not cover. That's dedication right there. I have the ultimate respect for that man, and in my opinion, the work he did on the show is worth giving SPD a second chance. Also, they had what is almost unanimously panned throughout the fandom as one of the show's greatest casts. Brandon, Chris, Matty, Monica, and Alicia were all amazing actors; and having met the last four (plus Greg), I can honestly say that they are some of the nicest and most gracious people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.[/quote] I've not seen one episode of RPM yet, so I can't pass judgment on it. Anyone know where I can find episodes? I can never find it on TV... It's on ABC on Saturday's if you're in the States, but depending on where you live, the timing is never consistent. Usually it runs between 11 and 11:30 where I live in CA, but I've heard folks say that it airs in their towns either much earlier in the morning (aka still dark outside) or later in the evening around 5-ish. More often than not, I just download the episodes or watch them on YouTube.

I dunno, I guess it was just one of those times where you watch something and you could just never really get into it as a whole. I mean, the cast was great, and the villians weren't that shabby either, but I honestly just couldn't get into it. I'll have to give it a second run through. Maybe I'll change my tune when I'm done with it lol.
And yeah, I'm usually up around 9 in the morning here in New Jersey, and I'll turn the TV on at around 10-10:30 to see if RPM's on, but I always seem to miss it. I'll have to watch them on Youtube and see it's any good.
