I know Wikipedia's not always reliable (Let's not even get started with how I ended up on Yost's Wiki page), but his page says he lives in the same city that I do. Doubting Wiki's reliability, I was forced to do further research and found that David Yost lives less than three miles away from me. I'm tempted to do a drive-by on my way to work tomorrow.

That's neat, if wiki is not lying. The drive-by is only okay if you don't get caught! Restraining orders are such pesky things... Not that I would know ANYTHING about them...

Wow, I did not know that you live on Aquitar! Just please don't get caught. We can't afford to bail you out this time, plus you have a story to finish. ;D

haha...I seriously doubt I'd get caught, seeing as how he lives in a regular old neighborhood like me with no gates or security or anything like that, but I'll keep your warnings in mind.

He's got an official myspace page, WK88, so you could always compare and see if Wiki's right....and yes, let's not get started on Wiki....my professors laugh their asses off over it when someone uses it for referene material at school.

Reference material for school? What kills me is when someone tries to use Wiki as reference material in a legal brief!!

My professors just must not have cared much, 'cause I cited Wiki in essays and reports more times than I can even count, and never got anything less than a B on any of them. Granted, I only used Wiki 'cause I was lazy and didn't want to look too hard for other sources, but in the end it got me my associate's degree, so I'm not gonna complain.

Wiki is useful to get started but it's not an "academic" reference... What I like to do is use wiki as a starting point and then scroll down to see the actual references used... They're normally more reliable... Normally... ;D

My favorite Simpsons quote ever, because it just sums up my feelings on how reliable Wikipedia is...
Bart: So Dean Martin would show up at the last minute and do everything in just one take? Homer: That's right. Bart: But Wikipedia said he was passionate about rehearsal! Homer: Don't you worry about Wikipedia. We'll change it when we get home. We'll change a lot of things.

I really had no idea that Wikipedia was not that dependable. But it never disappoints me, so well... (:

I'm with you liz. I'm always quoting it when talking to my family about what I found out on wiki. Now, I feel kind of stupid. I guess I should look at it like a gossip column huh?

It's not that, you guys. It's just that most of the information on there is from fans of various things, instead of actual professionals (not in all cases, but in most) and the fact that anyone who signs up can change information on there makes it unreliable in a lot of areas. Heck, I look stuff up on there all the time, I was just meaning it's not reliable for school / work stuff.
