Depending on what happens this year, we could be in for a major cluster-eff come next season. Not sure if anyone has seen these yet, or if anyone even cares to look, but here's the link for next season's Sentai, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. After seeing these costumes, I don't see how anyone is going to be able to adapt this in a way that is attractive to an American audience. The suits are just way too Japanese, IMHO of course, to translate well over here. It should be interesting to see how Disney attempts to pull this off, if there even is a next season that is.

I was beinning to think there wasn't going to be a new season next year. because I havent really seen anything for this season here is the PR schedule for the rest of this month: www.angelfire.com/scifi/prstuff/prgrid.htmland since Toon Disney is no more that make me wonder if we will ever be able to watch PR ever again

Actually, I think the costumes are pretty cool; how they made it look like a kimono sort of thing and the Japanese characters on the helmets. I like the colors, kinda like the old school Sentai though I'd rather have a Black ranger than a Green ranger. I just checked the Wiki page and the new series seem to have such an interesting background story and as a fan of Sentai, I can't wait to watch this.
Well, for me the costumes don't look that much different from what PR usually has. Ninja Storm's costumes were a bit too Japanese too, but they made it work so I'd love to see how this'll turn up later.

Don't get me wrong, Shinkenger should be a good Sentai, but those costumes in America? It's like the Dairanger and Hurricaneger suits got together, decided to have kids, and the Shinkenger suits were what we got. I mean, just the fact that the helmets are Kanji has me doubtful. Then there's the swords they all carry. Unlike previous seasons, those swords actually look like legitimately destructive weapons. Wouldn't have been a problem during the Jonathan Tzachor era, but it'll be interesting to see how Disney handles it.

Well, as an Asian the uniforms look fine to me and as for the Kanji... it'd make looking out of the mask a bit tricky to have AIR, WATER, EARTH, WOOD, and SKY on their helmets, I assume, lol. I personally don't think Disney would think much about the swords, seeing PR just adapts Sentai no matter what. I know that there's adjustments, but the swords are such a big part and unless they don't want to use Japanese footages, it'd be impossible for them to take them out. But yeah, it'll be interesting to see how Disney handles it (especially that Henshin sequence with the calligraphy pen which IMHO is really cool). Maybe they'd make it kinda similar with Ninja Storm. That's just my two cents
