After all the crappy news, finally a ray of hope

I got the text message of the year last night - I found out I'm the Aunt of a new baby girl!! *tears up*

Lily Marie was born yesterday at 5:55 p.m., weighing 6lbs 12 ozs. Mommy and daughter are doing just fine!

After the last few hard ass months of all the crap, I got a little ray of sunshine! I have a new niece to go with all my little nephews (Ethan, JD who is Lily's brother, Elijah and Gavin!)

Sorry, had to spread the joy! Now I return you back to your regularly scheduled epsiode of Power Rangers.

Awwww. Congratulations Auntie Kim! That is such a beautiful name. I may have to borrow that if I have a little girl one day. Will you get to see her anytime soon?

Princess Kimberly, her name is Lily Marie.

JPS - unfortunately, not until I get pictures. She lives in Washington State with my long time bestie (her mommy). My bestie and her hubby are pretty good about sending me pictures every few months or so, but my guess would be I'll be getting pics in a week or two. And I love her name, which was no surprise to me because my bestie's name means Lily Of The Valley and it's her favorite flower too, so it was only natural that her daughter was gonna get that name. I think it's pretty cool, since her son is named after his father and now her daughter is sorta named after her.
