It has been almost six months since I've last logged in. Can you believe that, SIX MONTHS!!! 
It has been one of the most eventful six months of my life. In June, my laptop was stolen from my mom's house. 
There went my internet access for a long while. We were already in the process of moving from Detroit to Orlando. We were finally able to move on Sept. 1. Yes, my husband and I rented a truck and drove for 20 hours straight.
We only stopped for food, gas, and relief. It was a pretty good ride. No one was really on the roads because it was Labor Day. Anyway, after a slight problem with the apartment complex, we got the keys to our place. Unfortunately, our movers didn't show up, so my husband and I moved EVERYTHING into our apartment. It was the longest two days of my life!
So after awhile, we finally got settled in, but with the economy going downhill, a new laptop was put on the back burner. I would periodically go to the library to get online, but most of the time got used to check my email. With the new year, and my son on verge of finally going to school, I desperately wanted my own computer again. So, for now, we went down the street and rented one from Rent-A-Center. While it kills me to overpay for an average laptop, I don't regret it. It feels great to be able to surf the web in the comfort of my own home for as long as I want. ;D
So, at least for now, I am back. I'm currently playing catch up on some of my favorite stories and seeing how you all have been doing. For those of you who have been ill, or have ill loved ones, I pray for your and their speedy recoveries. For those who have lost loved ones, I send my condolences. I also send belated happy holidays and happy birthdays to those I missed. And to those of you that are new to this site, welcome! We're a crazy bunch, but we're fun. I really do mean it. I missed all of you my crazy, insane, TK family! Things have been dull around here. We gotta bring the craziness back. Hopefully, with the new year we can make more of an effort into making this site what it once was.
