Thought I'd post my Sky/Syd stuff as well. So far this is the only one I've made, but I plan to make more soon. Just like my TK stuff, none of this is snurchable. If you really want something, either ask me and we'll talk, or ask me to make you something new. For all I have to say on the subject, see my TK Art thread, lol.

Thanks!! And this time, it might not just be your moniter. I accidentally posted the wrong version, lol. Here's the right one. Hopefully this is easier to read.

Honestly, the uneven eraser marks around their faces takes away from the banner, for me. The erasing could have been done a little differently.
And the coloring... it's a little too bold for my tastes. The colors don't really go together very well.

I use Gimp, so maybe that's what you mean...And if it is, it's probably because of my stupid mouse. I use my laptop, and I don't have a separate mouse, so I have to try to control the lasso with my laptop touchpad, which sometimes likes to stick... I get what you mean about the colors being bold, but I'll have to disagree about them going together. IMO, they go together very well. Of course, that's no different from your opinion that they don't, lol. I suppose it could also be my monitor. It likes to show me different colors at different times when looking at the same thing. Don't get me wrong though!! I really appreciate your input! It really helps to hear that not everyone likes your stuff, lol!!! ;D

Well, I'm taking it that I didn't piss you off by saying what I did, and for that I'm grateful. I just think it's good to hear more than just the GOOD feedback (ie "it's great!").
And yeah, the feathering is exactly what I was referring to. I wasn't sure if I said that, if you'd know what I was talking about, since we don't all use the same program. LOL And OMG you use the laptop pad?! HOLY CRAP!! I won't even attempt to do graphics if I don't have a mouse, so kudos for even attempting it! LOL
As for my comment about the colors being bold, I'm seeing this dark pink (fushia, maybe?) color with a brighter blue, and it hurts my eyes. But you're absolutely right, it could be the difference in our monitors. My old laptop sucked for making graphics, as the monitor was darker than my new one. So, yeah, I can see that, and totally understand. LOL

LOL!!! Nope, it didn't piss me off at all! I crave feedback of any kind. I don't believe we can get better if we never have criticism. Same with writing. I run into that problem on one of the other sites I frequent. Someone will post a tutorial or ask how something was done, and only part of us will know what they mean since we all use different programs. I believe, at last count, there were about 6 different programs in use, and that's not even counting the same programs in other languages, and having to figure out what the translations are, lol!!! Yeah, I pretty much have to use the laptop pad. At first, I was just fooling around, so I didn't think too much about it. Control and such was the last thing on my mind. I was just focused on seeing if I could kind of make something that sort of looked not bad, lol. By the time I was worried about control, I was so used to working while in the car, or on the bed/couch, or on my lap that I almost don't feel comfortable using a mouse when I get the chance. And then I went through a phase where I stopped feathering (I was trying to see if my friends on the other site would recognize my stuff without my "tells" and feathering was one of them), so I didnt need to worry about it much. But thanks for the kudos, lol!!! Ahhh!!! I think it's one/both of the monitors. On my screen, I have a dark pink/fushia-ish color and a brightly dark blue (if that makes any sense) and then the words are kind of a purple-ish blue color. It's always funny to me to look at graphics on the sites I frequent at home then go look at those same graphics on the screens at the computer lab at school. I wish they could just make all monitors, for both desktops and laptops, the same. It would make things much easier. I'm very sorry that they hurt your eyes though... One of these days, when I get the space and money for one, I'm going to get a desktop that will be just for everything but graphics. That way my laptop (which can go anywhere with me, lol) can be just for graphics. Of course, maybe I'll just see about getting another laptop...Then I can take both with me in case I've got homework/office work, lol!!! Thanks again for the feedback. And thanks also to Kim for feedback!
