Sooo...some of you may know that last night at approximately 7 pm eastern time...I attended my very first Jonas Brothers concert. And I must say that these boys know how to put on one hell of a show! I was in awe with the effects they had, their band, and their vocals, and just how much energy they had. They all seemed sooo happy to be there and playing for us. The show just rocked and was filled with old favorites and new sure fire hits from the new album..out August 12th!
Sooo highlights of this show....Demi Lovato...amazing opening act! The singing..the pyrotechnics...."A Little Bit Longer"..Big Rob.....and the energy! Although I'm fairly certain I'm deaf now because the second the lights went out for the boys...the entire arena....exploded. I and my friend were one of the ones screaming...it was fun.
So the concert effing rocked...we had to sit by these two obnoxious girls who screamed at a very inappropriate time and I went off because it had to be done.
These girls decided to scream during the intro to the song because they show a video about Nick living with the disease and there was a part where he was putting his insulin pump on and they screamed because you got to see skin.
Soo...I got angry because as the daughter of a diabetic...I felt it had to be done. I pretty much said "Excuse me, but you're being very rude to Nick and diabetics everywhere so please stop screaming or go do it somewhere else." Of course they ignored me, but I tried. That song was honestly one of the most beautiful that I've heard and it brings me to tears everytime I hear it.
And other than that the concert was just amazing. I'm more in love with them now than I was before. Nick..played pretty much every instrument on that stage..Joe....oh Joe Jonas...and Kevin...amazing on a guitar. Seriously, I have a new respect for them now. They sound amazing live too!
Soooo...now for another story..after the last song my friend and I literally rushed..as in sprinted outside and decided to well..linger where their buses were. Damn..we got right up against the fence and their bassist took pictures of everyone waiting. It was funny because fans blocked the streets. Soo..first out was Momma Jonas in an SUV with a police escort. She waved to everyone and thanked the girls by the car for coming and everyone was like shouting "Thank you for having them!"
Now, the boys actually didn't come out because that would have caused mass pandimonium. BUT when their bus came out they were in the front with their little brother and all smiling and waving to us. Sooo...Joe Jonas made eye contact with me and waved at me. That smile was too cute. And I was acting somewhat normal soo..yay me!
All in all..amazing night of fun. So great and he acknowledged me. Even if he's already forgotten about me its nice to think about! lol. Thank you for your time and Gina please don't kill me!
