Long time lurker, first time poster. Hi! I've been looking around to see if this was already mentioned/posted about, but I didn't find anything related, so here I go. I'm also a lurker at rangerboard and a poster there was awesome enough to upload vids of the ranger panel that took place during Anime Central 2008. In the third part of the "Ranger Fans All Around Panel" someone asked JDF about whether he preferred Kim or Kat (thank you person), and even tho he slightly confused the question he totally chose AJJ. Not in the most outright way .... but he totally did. Weirdly enough, he also mentioned that there may have been something going on tween "Kat" and his bro. Dude! That's so totally cool - I so have to watch that! *downloads videos* *does a little dance* Totally cool! I so had to watch that before work - talk about a pick me up! I'll watch the rest later, but the whole brother/Kat comment was awesome Edit: I've watched everything from start to finish on sections 1, 2 and 3 of that interview and the morphing sequence wast priceless - JDF "And next on You Tube" ROFL! The guy is hilarious

*squee* OMG THAT'S SO COOL! I'm grinning like an idiot right now (no that that's unusual). LOL Thanks for sharing that with us, I hadn't been to RangerBoard in a loooooong time, so was unaware of the vids.

Thanks for the welcome. I knew I needed to find other people who could appreciate his awesome comment. I hate fangirling all by myself. I wonder if JDF would have been more generous with his comment if wifey hadn't been in the front row. ETA: Another one of my fave comments by JDF regarding Kim/AJJ is at the beginning of this vid, starting at about 0:42: I think it's pretty clear that when JDF is asked questions about the pink ranger he always assumes they mean Amy and usually refers to Kim as being "the girlfriend", and when he ever references the Kat character it's like a diplomatic after thought. I edited the post to put the video here so people don't have to go to youtube to do so. Hope that's okay marisa! |

OMG that's so funny! Thanks for sharing that one too. I had NO idea that JDF was so frikkin funny! I have to admit that I've not watched any youtube vids with him in them before *shrugs* don't know why, I just haven't. But I'll be watching all of the other ones from that Con now. LOL
And yeah, now you know who to come *squee* with then you need a fangirl moment.

It was completely by chance that I found those clips. I happened to be looking him up on YouTube at just the right time last year. He hasn't been to very many CONs. He even says in the YouTube clips that that was his first one, and that CON was in 2007.
He is a really funny guy with a ton of inside info, and I like how he can laugh at himself and the cheesiness of PR while still appreciating it for what it was. I hope he makes more appearances.

Yeah...Somehow I think that the two of them (Jason and Amy) are really meant to be... You know, it's like Amy is his trully soulmate and that's why the whole relationship between Tommy and Kim in PR seemed so realistic Luv them forever :* |

i knew JDF had feeling for AJJ..he always seems to be the one to mention her in interviews...
this interview is so much better than the one that is on youtbe because i think that one got edited alot.
and if anyone here lives in florida like me JDF will be at this years AFO again. i was gonna go but plans fell through and so did the back up plans
