While I was doing my homework for today, I was sitting here thinking, it would be nice to share with each other our favorite music - artists and songs. I guess it would be good if you posted a song or artist when you heard it if it reminds you of PR. I know a lot of music reminds me of TK and SS, and I'm sure you've heard me comment on that in other areas, but if Cat's cool with it, these could encompass all of PR (since this particular area is a general post).
So I'll go first!
Right now, Megs has me hooked on Leona Lewis and Amy Pearson. I just got Lewis' new album, Spirit, and let me tell you - LOTS OF TK stuff on this one. As far as Amy is concerned, she's a British artist who's album has just dropped in Australia (her adopted homeland) and you can't really get her stuff yet, but she's worth checking out on Myspace.
Leona Lewis songs: Bleeding Love, Yesterday, Whatever It Takes, Better In Time, Footprints In The Sand, Angel, I Will Be, I'm You, and Here I Am
Amy Pearson songs: Ready To Fly, Wish I Was Her, Love Like This, Lost Without Your Love.

Leona is awesome... When I saw the Footprints in the Sand video, I nearly bawled my eyes out... If you like Leona, then you should take a listen to Lisa Lavie and she's Canadian I'm currently hooked on Sara Bareilles. I listen to Love Song as a pick me up. And for my rocking moods, Theory of a Deadman and Eyeshine. Incidentally, Eyeshine's front-man is Johnny Yong Bosch aka Adam from MMPR ;D

Eyeshine rocks. I love their music when I'm working on upbeat or battle scenes. I can't wait to get the new album.

When I need some inspiration I normally turn to Amy Pearson, whom I love love love. Like Pink said, she's truly an amazing artist with heaps of talent. She's got some kick butt songs on her album..which I'm importing..yay! I highly reccommend 'Don't Miss You' or 'Not Me' as pick me ups and 'Ready to Fly' is absolutely fantastic.
And then there's The Veronicas. I adore them, they're both so talented. I love their new album and I highly recommend, 'Untouched', 'Someone Wake Me Up', and 'Everything'.

Megs has this uncanny ability to get one hooked on GREAT music. Both she and Kim are awesome to go to and you're looking for something to listen to that will remind you of a couple or put in a particular mood for writing.
I have to agree with both of them: Amy Pearson is AMAZING! Her songs are absolutely wonderful, and I for one, can't wait until her music hits the states!
Two more AWESOME songs by The Veronicas that are VERY catchy are 'Take Me on the Floor' and 'Did Ya Think?'
