Yes, fellow Power Ranger fans, both open and those still in the closet. Join me in the first annual Power Ranger Power contest.
Okay, the idea sprung forth in my mind like this... I'm on spring break this week and I was bored today. And when I am bored strange things take place in my mind. Then kinky things. Then more strange things. And then UREKA!
I discovered a website through a pop up window. And after 5 long seconds of bitching out my anti-virus pop-up blocker I discovered a very, very easy to use "Motivational Poster Generator.
No doubt you've seen the basic black background with a picture, and then some funny or ironic phrase. Well upon researching the generator, I discovered I could make Power Ranger posters. And having absolutely nothing worthwhile to do with my day, I began making them until my online buds, Missa, Ang, Liz, and Ninja-Vivian thought I had gone mad!
Mad, they said!
Obsessed, they said!
Anywho, I came up with a number of ones that I hope are funny or cute or sexy. But then I had the idea that I bet I am not the only person needing a hour or so to make something totally silly and goof and entertain other silly and goofy adults. So I thought of creating a silly and goofy contest where we have four categories and use Power Rangers pics, screen caps, or anything that any of the actors have every done and just go balls to the wall crazy.
Trust me when I say using then generator is the easiest thing in the entire world next to boiling water. But there are requirements for entering. They are as follows:
Who can enter: Must have a pulse and access to the internet.
Prior artistic credentials: Must have written at least each letter of the alphabet twice! Must be able to count to ten.
Criminal background: I have a don't ask, don't tell policy.
If you meet those hard core criteria then look for or save or make your own or request PR screen caps and enter your posters in one of four amazingly original categories. These are like the most original categories anyone has ever created, ever...
